Answer: If you read the report it gives in every test pit they dug the same analysis. " dark brown, WET. gray, WET." What was actually accomplished was a report that supports the wet meadow conditions that exist. You don't read the words "dry". The actual terminology for the wet soils is "saturated" and those soils exists over 80% of the Griffin Dairy parcel. The soils should of been examined by a soils scientist and classified using USDA texture guidelines.
The Unified system is solely for engineers who really have no knowledge of soils as we speak. The engineers are merely looking for weight capacity and loading potentials.
